Between the meadows and forests of the Châtillonais, the manor is the holiday home where –as children- we would all have loved to catch trout and ghosts..

Outside the great outdoors, inside the coolness kept by the old stone walls and the warmth of the fireplace after the summer season. The freedom to stroll from the dining room to the sitting room that opens onto the winter garden and the terrace.

Our home has been open to guests for over 20 years, from Easter to Halloween, for a weekend or a few days to unwind as a couple, with family, on your own or with friends.

The first floor holds the 5 guestrooms, each one with it’s own bathroom. There is a suite, a family suite, two double rooms and a twin room. We can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests (and provide two supplementary beds and a crib).

The Marcilly room, the Gold, the Red, the Blue and the Mancel rooms share the view of the park, the forge and the rivers. A large corridor opens up to a south facing terrace from where you can observe the roe deer and the king fisher…

We serve breakfast in the dining room : fresh bread, homemade jams and honey, white tablecloths and fine china. For lunch and dinner we reserve for you the best tables at our restaurant “La Forge de Tarperon”; if it is closed, you can enjoy Soisick’s “table d’hôtes” in the manor’s dining room.

A few steps separate the manor from the forge, the chaise longues, the great trees and the whisper of the river that joins the two buildings.

You are also welcome for a family reunion, a fly fishing weekend (in our private 2km course along the Coquille and Revinson rivers), a painting workshop, a seminar… organized in advance, group stays are welcome at Tarperon, we can reserve the whole house for you.
